About The Position

The AGM (Assistant General Manager) role at CHEBA HUT is a multifaceted position responsible for both product and people management within the store. This role involves overseeing inventory, ordering, financial reporting, team training, marketing event execution, and ensuring overall shop cleanliness and operational efficiency. The AGM will also be involved in supporting the General Manager with interviews and new hire orientation, as well as managing various administrative tasks and catering follow-ups. This position requires a customer-first mindset, strong leadership, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, including comfort with a marijuana-themed culture.

Responsibilities

  • Product Management: Overseeing food and bar inventory, ordering, and monthly par adjustments.
  • Operational Oversight: Organizing store areas (manager desk, walk-ins, storage, bar, kitchen, etc.), conducting monthly R&M walkthroughs and follow-ups, and overseeing cleaning checklists and shop cleanliness.
  • Financial Reporting: Pulling weekly financial report data and participating in monthly bar meetings.
  • Shift Management: Working 1-2 bartending shifts, 1-2 manager shifts, and 1-2 support shifts per week.
  • Training: Training all bartenders, shift leads, and training leads.
  • Marketing & Events: Overseeing and executing in-store marketing events, promotions, and signage.
  • Team Development: Reviewing mystery shops and addressing issues with team members, executing the people pipeline, and organizing write-ups, licenses, and permits.
  • Administrative Tasks: Managing office supply and Integra inventory and ordering, assisting GM with interviews and new hire orientation, and reviewing manager logs.
  • Catering Support: Following up on catering communications and developing a communication cadence.
  • Other Duties: Performing any other assigned duties to support shop people and operations.
