Micron Technology is seeking an experienced, business-facing attorney to join its world class Legal Department. The attorney will be responsible for a wide range of complex domestic and international commercial transactions. Requirements

• JD from an ABA accredited law school and a current member of the bar in good standing
• Located within a reasonable distance from a Micron office, or willing to relocate
• 8+ years of experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, along with an excellent working and practical knowledge of commercial law across geographies
• An executive presence in interactions with senior leadership
• The ability to collaborate, build relationships, gain credibility, and partner effectively with internal collaborators and legal colleagues
• Eye for business, a strategic perspective, and a high degree of ethics and integrity

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated dedication to adopting and optimizing legal AI tools, with a willingness to contribute to AI-enabled solutions and workflows that improve Legal Department efficiency and service delivery
• Experience working in an in-house legal environment preferred
• Top law firm and corporate experience in the semiconductor or adjacent industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic legal advice and solutions to support business teams in meeting strategic and commercial goals and enhancing partner relationships
• Review, negotiate, and draft a variety of commercial agreements, including product purchase and sale agreements, volume supply agreements, waivers, disclaimers, quality requirements, warranty agreements, settlement agreements, confidentiality agreements, marketing materials, and other commercial agreements
• Support the development and implementation of Micron’s new contract lifecycle management platform
• Perform a vital cross-functional role with other legal teams and organizations, including finance, supply chain, procurement, sales, engineering, quality, and security, in connection with a variety of operational, commercial, compliance, and risk-related matters
• Develop and deliver effective trainings to internal partners on key legal issues
