About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager. This role involves overseeing the Front Office and Guest Services, ensuring seamless communication between departments, coordinating guest arrivals and departures, and managing financial and credit procedures. The Assistant Front Office Manager will also be responsible for guest safety, security, satisfaction, and well-being, and will handle guest complaints with professionalism. The hotel is a contemporary business hub in the heart of Silicon Valley, offering innovative hospitality and blending local adventures with artful sophistication.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of luxury hotel experience in a supervisory or management role of Front Office or Rooms Division
  • Must be flexible with schedule – Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evenings and some overnights.
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America

Responsibilities

  • Always offer professional and engaging service
  • Assist in overseeing the Front Office and Guest Services - conduct interviews, departmental trainings, and provide hands on support
  • Ensure communication between pertinent departments is seamless regarding any special needs with guests
  • Assist in conducting performance evaluations and disciplines staff when needed
  • Coordinate arrivals, departures for guests
  • Work with internal departments regarding billing
  • Block rooms for arrivals to ensure proper handling of special attention guest, return guest and groups
  • Assure that all financial and credit procedures are followed.
  • Follow up on credit problems with Financial Manager
  • Follow-up with guest requests
  • Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available.
  • Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
