About The Position
The University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM), a comprehensive institution offering undergraduate and selected master's degree programs, is seeking an Assistant Football Coach. This role involves assisting the head football coach in all aspects of the football program, including recruiting qualified student-athletes, developing and coordinating an academic program for student-athletes, and performing other duties as assigned. The position is within the Athletics Department and requires a commitment to the academic success and maximum performance of student-athletes.
Requirements
- Background of teaching and competitive coaching experience
- Recruiting experience
- Knowledge of NCAA rules
- Commitment to the academic success of student-athletes
- Ability to organize and motivate student-athletes to maximum performance level
- Ability to work, communicate, and develop rapport with students, faculty, administration, alumni, community groups, and media
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
Nice To Haves
- A master's degree is preferred
