About The Position

The Assistant Food Service Supervisor is a full-time position responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, budgeting, inventory, ordering, and physical management of the dietary department's employees and equipment. This role ensures the department is maintained in accordance with the facility’s established policies and in compliance with all governmental regulations.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM).
• Knowledgeable in Food Service Sanitation (must have food service sanitation certificate).
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Able to assess the nutritional care of residents and address residents nutritional risk.
• Responsible for initial, quarterly, annual, and significant change assessments.
• Must be familiar with the MDS and Care plans.
• Detail oriented.
• Team player.
• Solid work history.
• High School education.
• 2 years of experience.
