Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills possessed will exemplify a moral character that is consistent with being a positive role model for high school students.
Knowledge of high school sports programs at the high school level (to include recent rule changes).
Know how to communicate effectively with athletes and parents.
Ability to work harmoniously with others.
To organize and manage students time effectively.
To use problem solving strategies consistently.
Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance.
District drug screening clearance.
BBP Training.
NFHS Coaches Certification or ASEP Certification.
ASEP Certification.
First Aid/CPR Certification.
Vector Trainings.

Nice To Haves

College Degree Preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide supportive leadership and organization to the Head Coach in athletic programs for grades 9-12.
Support an environment in which student/athletes can gain self-esteem and develop a positive self-image.
Support the promotion of sportsmanship, a winning attitude, and commitment to student academic success.
Develop a system of participation that can be effectively communicated with assistants to implement for grades 9-12.
Adjusts to performing practices in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations.
