About The Position

Join Central State Hospital (CSH) as an Assistant Financial Services Director and make an impact behind the mission. CSH is transitioning to a brand new, state-of-the-art hospital opening in the spring/summer of 2027. We offer a comprehensive benefits package. CSH is a 277-bed Joint Commission accredited psychiatric inpatient facility serving citizens of the Commonwealth since 1870. We operate the state's only maximum-security treatment facility and also provide care for individuals in the community and the criminal justice system. Our treatment approach is holistic and person-centered, utilizing various modalities including medication, evidence-based therapies, peer support, psychosocial rehabilitation, vocational training, court preparation, and substance use treatment.

Requirements

Considerable knowledge of state program budgeting.
General knowledge of state policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills.
Extensive experience in budget development, projections and management.
Experience in automated accounting systems required.
Extensive computer skills: Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel required.
Experience with understanding and establishing policies and procedures and compliance with regulatory policies as they relate to finance.
Experience with regulatory audits as it relates to finance.
