About The Position

This role involves assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial projections for the Corporation. The position also requires tracking monthly management reporting and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), conducting financial and business analysis, and participating in the annual audit process. The Assistant Finance Manager/Senior Officer will liaise with auditors, professionals, and regulators to ensure compliance, assist in preparing Board/Commitment papers for quarterly financial results, and aid in the development of financial models and project evaluations. A key responsibility includes participating in the rollout of accounting system upgrades and automation to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls. The role also encompasses performing any other duties assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant with University Degree majoring in Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience
  • Well-versed in computerized accounting system and reporting tools
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem solving skills, willing to work under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of annual budget, rolling forecast and 10-year financial projection of the Corporation
  • Assist in tracking of monthly management reporting and Key Performance Indicators (KPI), with financial and business analysis
  • Participate in annual audit; liaise with auditors, other professionals, and regulators to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist in preparation of Board/Commitment papers for quarterly financial result
  • Assist in the development of financial models and project evaluation for management decision
  • Participate in the rollout of the accounting system upgrade and system automation to improve operation efficiency and internal controls
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
