About The Position

Blount Fine Foods is a family-owned and operated manufacturer, marketer, and developer of premium fresh prepared foods, including soups, mac & cheese, and entrées. The Assistant Filler Operator is responsible for efficiently and accurately operating machines to produce soup and side dish products. The position is full-time and scheduled for the 2nd shift, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, with weekend work potentially required based on operational needs. The role involves repeatedly lifting up to 25 pounds and working in a hot, humid environment while following safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work in a hot and humid environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish ability.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipe and HACCP steps to ensure recipes are completed correctly according to predetermined standards.
• Communicate effectively within the department to support efficient and productive processing.
• Perform final in-line work and take responsibility for recipes being produced.
• Learn, operate, and adjust multiple pieces of in-line processing equipment, including large-volume kettles, chiller machines, and filler machines.
• Multitask across recipes and processing steps while working in an organized and clean manner.
• Follow all safety guidelines.
