About The Position

Edgemine is hiring an Assistant Fashion Designer for the Moon River brand. This hands-on, production-heavy role supports the design and development process, including trend research, sketching, fittings, and photoshoot preparation. The work is deadline-driven and detail-oriented, helping keep the design calendar on track and maintain consistent products. The role is suited to someone organized and focused who wants to build experience in the wholesale apparel industry.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of fashion industry experience, or a degree in Fashion Design.
• A strong eye for women's fashion, silhouette, and product development.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, or similar tools.
• Organization, reliability, and attention to detail, especially with process-based, repetitive tasks.
• Dependability as a team player and clear, professional communication.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
• Prior internship or experience in wholesale or production environments.

Responsibilities

• Research seasonal trends, colors, and fabrics aligned with the Moon River brand direction.
• Create and revise flat sketches, colorways, and CADs.
• Build and maintain organized tech packs for sampling and production.
• Support sample tracking and fit sessions, and communicate updates to the factory.
• Prepare for campaign photoshoots by steaming and organizing garments and assisting on set.
• Enter and update style data in the ERP system and maintain internal style records.
