About The Position

JLL is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional facility services to our clients. In this position, you will partner closely with the Facility Manager to oversee comprehensive property operations including maintenance, custodial services, security, and vendor management. This role is essential to ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence across JLL's integrated facility management portfolio. You'll have the opportunity to develop strong client relationships, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery while contributing directly to JLL's mission of shaping the future of real estate for a better world.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of facility management industry experience
  • Basic computer and mobile (Smartphone) skills for CMMS, email, MS Office, TEAMS, safety training, and sourcing applications
  • Strong organizational and management abilities with proven capability to work independently
  • Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively organize responsibilities to achieve portfolio goals and objectives
  • Basic knowledge of building systems and technical skills (mechanical and electrical systems)
  • Demonstrated commitment to Teamwork, Ethics, and Excellence (JLL core behaviors)
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management or Property Management
  • Experience with CMMS platforms
  • Prior experience with vendor management and budget development
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and safety regulations in facility management
  • Experience managing Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Facility Manager to oversee maintenance, repair, custodial, security, and building services delivery
  • Proactively manage client relationships and monitor service levels to ensure and increase customer satisfaction
  • Assist in developing and managing operating budgets with monthly/quarterly variance reporting for assigned properties
  • Monitor Work Order performance, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), taking corrective action when needed
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on goal setting, performance criteria, and utilization of preferred contractors and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises
  • Ensure compliance with audit standards, safety policies, local codes, and operational procedures while implementing hazard control practices
  • Support the Facility Manager in executing short and long-term client projects and preparing appropriate reporting documentation
