About The Position

Adelphoi is seeking an Assistant Facilities Director to lead daily facility operations across its schools, offices, and residential group homes. This role requires a blend of hands-on maintenance and construction knowledge with leadership capabilities. The position is based in Latrobe, PA, with sites in several Western PA Counties. This is a Full-Time position that includes emergency responses on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

5+ years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, construction, maintenance operations, or skilled trades, including responsibility for project coordination and vendor management.
Valid driver’s license and 21+ years old.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen, clearances & physical.

Demonstrated ability to influence others, coordinate resources, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and lead through accountability and collaboration.
Trade school, technical certification, construction management coursework, or related education preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key member of the Facilities leadership team and act on behalf of the Facilities Director as needed.
Assist in developing project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans for complex facility initiatives.
Analyze facility needs and provide recommendations that support long-term infrastructure planning and organizational growth.
Build strong relationships with program leadership and stakeholders to ensure facilities support exceptional service delivery for youth and families.
Plan and manage projects with Facilities Director and VP of Facilities & Supply Chain Management.
Manage work orders, repairs, upgrades, safety checks, and relocations.
Work with Adelphoi technicians and hired contractors to keep jobs moving.
Help ensure compliance with applicable building codes, licensing requirements, life-safety standards, and organizational policies.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve facility performance and risk management.
