About The Position
The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for an Assistant Executive Steward to join the team! Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. In this role, you will oversee stewarding operations across all food and beverage outlets and banquets managing a team of up to 50 and reporting directly to the Executive Steward. Requirements
- At least 3 years of food & beverage management experience in high-volume operations.
- Experience handling administrative duties is required.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Thorough knowledge of banquet function execution.
Nice To Haves
- Union experience is a plus.
