About The Position

Agemark is looking for an Assistant Executive Director to help lead sales, marketing, life enrichment and facilities for their community. This role partners closely with the Executive Director to create an outstanding experience for residents, families, and staff. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship-builder who thrives on making people feel welcome.

Requirements

Previous experience in staff management and sales & marketing required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable with computers and social media; proven track record of integrity and sound judgment.
A team player who can also work independently, prioritize, and stay flexible in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Flexibility to work scheduled hours based on community needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Background in geriatrics, health care, senior living or a related field preferred.
A degree in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Drive sales and marketing through outreach, community engagement and creative follow-up, including tours and needs assessments with prospective residents.
Keep detailed, accurate records in our CRM and meet daily with the Sales Director to align on priorities.
Partner with families, service providers and staff to make sure every resident's needs are met.
Plan and host networking events, and represent the community at presentations, vendor relations and professional meetings.
Coordinate with the Executive Director and care teams to ensure residents are matched with the right level of care.
Champion “first impressions” — monitoring cleanliness, staging and building upkeep, and flagging concerns to leadership.
Support move-in and move-out logistics, room turns, and timely completion of maintenance tickets.
Greet visitors, answer phones and foster positive interactions among residents, families, staff and the wider community.
Get involved in life enrichment activities and occasionally drive the community vehicle for outings and appointments.
