About The Position

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Assistant EHS Manager to join their team. This role is project-based and focuses on integrating environmental health and safety services into business practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Assistant EHS Manager will oversee safety responsibilities for their assigned project and interact with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Managers, Project Executives, and the Area/Regional EHS Director. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety management, engineering, or equivalent or relevant safety experience.
Strong written communication skills.
Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
3+ years of experience in a role assigned to the identification of safety hazards and recommending appropriate controls.
3+ years of experience in a safety role that required communication with employees at all levels in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

Integration of environmental health & safety services into business practices.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements on their assigned Project.
Overseeing responsibilities of their assigned Project as related to environmental health & safety services.
Direct interaction with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Manager, Project Executive and Area / Regional EHS Director.
