About The Position

DraftKings is seeking an Assistant Editor (TV & Social Commercials) Co-op to join its internal creative agency’s production and creative teams. The co-op will help create and support television commercials and social videos featuring celebrities and professional athletes, with work appearing on channels such as live television, Hulu, Instagram, and YouTube. The position offers practical production experience and may involve assisting on shoots in the DraftKings studio or at local Boston locations.

Requirements

Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in film production with a concentration in editing, or an equivalent program.
Willingness to learn.
Familiarity with GSuite, including Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
Experience with Adobe Premiere editing software.
Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics.
Experience with Photoshop.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Canon cameras or DSLRs, lighting, and audio capture.

Responsibilities

Help update existing TV commercials and digital videos, including applying new voice-overs and legal disclaimers and updating motion graphics or footage.
Support editors and the motion team on new commercials and digital videos by gathering assets, organizing project folders and footage, reviewing and quality-checking commercials, and archiving projects.
Potentially assist on set or at local Boston filming locations by running a teleprompter, helping set up and operate equipment, and dressing the set.
Partner with the producer to meet project key dates and post work in Wrike for stakeholder review.
Partner with the producer and creative team to gather assets such as music, stock footage, logos, and legal disclaimers.
Support the producer with quality control, delivery, and project transfer to Extreme Reach.
Provide production-team and producer support across projects as needed.
Help maintain production storage inventory.
Archive projects to the DraftKings production server.
