About The Position

The DevOps Co-op joins Analog Devices’ Analog Garage DevOps and Platform team, which builds and maintains infrastructure that helps developers and researchers move from ideas to working systems. The team supports software tools, platforms, and infrastructure used across the Garage. This is a hands-on role contributing to the same systems and tools used by the team, working alongside experienced engineers to solve real problems and improve the developer experience. The work provides exposure to cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, developer tooling, and automation. The co-op is described as an extended interview, with potential consideration for full-time opportunities after graduation. The company offers competitive compensation including paid vacation.

Requirements

Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Available for a co-op of at least 4 months.
Programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, Rust, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Familiarity with Git, Linux, containers, and software development workflows.
Interest in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, or developer tooling.
Familiarity with a major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies.
Comfort asking questions, experimenting, and working across different technical areas.

Responsibilities

Build and improve shared developer platforms, internal tools, and automation.
Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code in AWS and Kubernetes environments.
Create tools and automation in Python and Rust.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and developer workflow problems.
Explore and evaluate technologies that could improve how Garage teams build and ship software.
