Drive customer satisfaction. Develop and manage an electronic menu system. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for patients, residents, visitors and employees. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of effective merchandizing, quality assessment of market-place conditions, customer expectations and product selection to maximize customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • BS in Food Services Management or related field
  • 5-8 years previous management experience in large-scale/high volume food service operation required
  • Has a thorough knowledge of quantity of food production
  • Strong business acumen; strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-retail oversight experience preferred
  • Franchise experience preferred
  • Serv-Safe Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for multiple retail site locations.
  • Enforces quality control standards for patient food items including temperature, food handling, quality, taste and presentation.
  • Develops and schedules assignments.
  • Responsible for supervision of retail managers, catering managers and cash supervisor.
  • Full working knowledge of cash handling procedures.
  • Monitors employee performance.
  • Responsible for recruitment and hiring.
  • In consultation with the Assistant Director of Culinary, develops thematic menus for special customers and catering.
  • Responsible for regulatory adherence.
