About The Position

Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in a full-time ADOR (Assistant Director of Rehabilitation) role. This position combines direct patient care with rehabilitation leadership responsibilities, supporting high-quality therapy services while helping oversee daily rehab operations. Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing.
Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Strong communication, organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

Nice To Haves

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; qualified Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply if applicable to the role.
Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or rehabilitation preferred.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Evaluates and treats residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized treatment plans and promote positive resident outcomes.
Assists with rehabilitation department operations, staff support, quality initiatives, and clinical oversight.
Helps ensure regulatory compliance and exceptional patient care.
