Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in areas of Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Services or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in progressively responsible experience in operations, administration, project management, or a related field including demonstrated experience leading operational initiatives.
  • Experience within a nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, counseling, social services or other regulated environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of operational best practices, regulatory compliance, process improvement and quality improvement principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, identify operational issues, exercise sound judgment, and develop practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and constructively with individuals from all diverse cultures, backgrounds, family systems, and life experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, and communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the employees and leadership across multiple divisions and levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise appropriate discretion, and manage sensitive or confidential organizational information.
  • Adhere to the Agency’s Code of Ethics and conduct all responsibilities in accordance with the standards outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Passage of background clearance, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of liability insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Operations in the oversight and coordination of organization wide operational functions, priorities, and initiatives.
  • Manage assigned operational projects and initiatives from planning through implementation, including establishing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, monitor progress and address barriers to completion.
  • Coordinate the implementation and ongoing administration of operational policies, procedures, and organizational initiatives.
  • Evaluate operational processes and workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop recommendations to improve efficiency, consistency, quality, and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures, documentation, tools, and resources and provide guidance to managers and staff regarding assigned operational areas.
  • Monitor operational compliance with applicable federal, state, local requirements, accreditation standards, contractual obligations and funding source requirements.
  • Analyze operational data and performance measures, identify trends or areas requiring attention and prepare reports and recommendations for leadership.
  • Assist in budget monitoring, purchasing, vendor coordination, resource allocation, and cost-control related to operational functions.
  • Support workforce planning, staffing initiatives, and operational training programs.
  • Serve as a resource for staff and leadership by promoting communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.
