Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, our ADON is responsible for training, scheduling, and guiding the clinical team toward delivering exceptional care experiences. This role involves conducting initial assessments of prospective residents, performing wellness assessments, and developing individualized care plans. The ADON also delivers health promotion services, offers disease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education to residents. They engage with residents and family members compassionately, foster communication with physicians and healthcare providers, and contribute to quality assurance initiatives. Continuous learning and adherence to confidentiality regulations are also key aspects of this position.
