About The Position
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON/RN). The role supports and carries out the administration and management of Nursing Services for residents, in accordance with physicians’ orders and residents’ total needs. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), the ADON provides 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directs the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current federal, state, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations. When the DON is absent, the ADON assumes responsibility for clinical operations. Requirements
- Currently licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where practicing.
- A passion for working with seniors.
- Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
- Professional image in appearance and behavior.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Prior experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role.
Responsibilities
- Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services for residents in accordance with physicians’ orders and residents’ total needs.
- Partner with the Director of Nursing to provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
- Direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current federal, state, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Assume responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
