About The Position

The primary role of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is to oversee the Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department. This is done in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and Medical Director, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Requirements

  • Texas RN or LVN License is required
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
  • Management and leadership experience is necessary for success in this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred
