Assistant Director of Nursing ADON
About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our long-term care team. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about resident care and ready to grow into a leadership role within a supportive and collaborative environment. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to support and guide our nursing staff, ensure exceptional quality of care for residents, and help maintain smooth day-to-day clinical operations. You will play a key role in mentoring team members, fostering a positive workplace culture, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve. We especially welcome experienced long-term care nurses and skilled floor nurses who are eager to take the next step into leadership.
Requirements
- Active LPN or RN license (RN preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting
- Experience with EMR systems required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations
- Support, mentor, and supervise nursing staff
