Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, our ADON is responsible for training, scheduling, and guiding the clinical team toward delivering exceptional care experiences. This role involves conducting initial assessments of prospective residents, performing wellness assessments, and developing individualized care plans. The ADON will deliver health promotion services, offer disease prevention counseling, and provide self-care education to residents. A key aspect of the role is engaging with residents and family members compassionately and effectively, fostering communication with physicians, healthcare providers, and families regarding resident health status. The position also contributes to quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives and requires continuous learning and development. Compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations is essential, along with performing any other assigned duties.
