About The Position

This position provides oversight of clinical operations and interdisciplinary team collaboration which includes staff schedules, staff mentoring, patient care management, regulatory compliance, and culture development that operate 24 hours a day, seven days per week. This position offers an opportunity to influence healthcare delivery, implement innovative practices, and foster a collaborative team culture. This position reports to the Company’s Chief Nursing Officer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required.
  • Valid PA nursing license
  • Proven management experience in healthcare settings, with a focus on leadership roles for 5 - 7 years minimum.
  • Behavioral Health experience required, 3yrs minimum.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and foster professional growth.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Treat all individuals with dignity, empathy, and respect, recognizing that every role contributes to the patient and staff experience.
  • Perform all duties with professionalism, following policies to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with nurse managers to guide care and projects.
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and safety standards through daily rounding.
  • Daily collaboration within the nursing department and between other disciplines.
  • Address patient and staff concerns and issues.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and retention of nursing staff.
  • Review compliance of federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Recommend policy updates and changes.
  • Implement strategic plans to enhance nursing services and patient care quality.
  • Manage departmental budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote professional development and operational excellence.
  • Address performance concerns with action plan development.
  • Oversee educational programs, including staff training and continuing education initiatives, aligning with accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate with academic institutions for student placements.
  • Facilitate communication across departments to promote a unified approach to healthcare delivery.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient satisfaction and safety.
  • Participates in appropriate committees as assigned.
  • Supports nursing supervisor coverage as needed.
