Assistant Director of Nursing, Long Term Care
About The Position
The Assistant Director of Nursing, Long Term Care will provide oversight of the PRI and MDS processes to maximize reimbursement and support financial sustainability. This role will represent the Nursing Department on the LTC Safety Committee and coordinate employee safety initiatives. The position also coordinates and oversees the LTC attendance procedure process, provides daily supervisory oversight of nursing staff and clinical operations, and assumes Nurse Manager responsibilities in the absence of another Nurse Manager. Additionally, the Assistant Director of Nursing will participate in the recruitment and interview process for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license
- Four (4) years of managerial experience
- Two (2) years of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities in a Long-Term Care setting
