Assistant Director of Nursing, Long Term Care
About The Position
Assistant Director of Nursing, Long Term Care. This role provides oversight of the PRI and MDS processes to maximize reimbursement and support financial sustainability. The Assistant Director of Nursing will represent the Nursing Department on the LTC Safety Committee and coordinate employee safety initiatives. They will also coordinate and oversee the LTC attendance procedure process, provide daily supervisory oversight of nursing staff and clinical operations, assume Nurse Manager responsibilities in the absence of another Nurse Manager, and participate in the recruitment and interview process for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license
- Four (4) years of managerial experience and two (2) years of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities in a Long-Term Care setting
