About The Position

The Pines Post Acute and Memory Care is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join their team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining nursing service objectives and standards, ensuring the highest quality of care for residents. The ADON will assess resident needs, contribute to treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care. A key responsibility is ensuring nursing staff provide comprehensive care, including treatments, medications, and activities of daily living, to promote resident comfort and well-being. The position also involves training nursing staff and leading by example to foster a positive and effective work environment. Requirements

• Current RN or LVN license is required.
• Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Capable of organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of Long-Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains nursing service objectives and standards of nursing practice in accordance with the nursing policies and procedures.
• Assesses each resident’s needs and assists in the development of a treatment plan for nursing care to meet the daily treatment and care needs of the resident.
• Participates in the interdisciplinary team and works cooperatively with team members to ensure the coordination of care and treatment for the residents are met.
• Ensures that nursing personnel provide treatments, medications, diets, rehabilitative nursing care, activities of daily living, protective service, and training in self-care as stated in the care plan to ascertain that optimum comfort and care is provided.
• Train nursing staff in the proper provision of direct care to residents.
• Lead others through actions consistent with and serve our culture.
