About The Position

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will assist the Director of Nursing with the management of daily nursing operations. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, supporting staffing and scheduling, and overseeing the nursing department. The ADON will monitor quality measures, clinical outcomes, and resident care standards, while also conducting audits and investigations for clinical concerns. Additionally, the position involves assisting with staff education, coaching, and performance improvement, as well as participating in survey preparedness and regulatory compliance activities. The goal is to promote a positive, collaborative, and resident-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
