About The Position

The Center at Lincoln is hiring a dual-role Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Infection Control Nurse at its all-rehab skilled nursing facility in Parker, Colorado. This is a high-volume, fast-paced leadership position requiring strong clinical knowledge in nursing management and infection prevention. The position assists the Director of Nursing Services (DON) with planning, organizing, developing, and directing the Nursing Department’s day-to-day functions. It also develops, implements, and maintains the facility-wide Infection Prevention and Control Program. The role is responsible for supporting quality care and clinical compliance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The position participates in the facility’s nurse management on-call rotation. The listed salary range is $90,000–$95,000.

Requirements

Active, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment.
Strong clinical background in nursing management and infection prevention.
Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced leadership position, multitask, and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Assist the DON in overseeing daily nursing-unit operations and supporting efficient, effective functioning and regulatory compliance.
Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance and provide feedback, coaching, and professional development as needed.
Maintain, audit, and evaluate infection control programs for patients and employees, and serve as the primary resource on infection prevention guidelines.
Perform regular clinical audits, oversee customer service initiatives, and implement data-driven strategies to improve unit performance, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
Collaborate with the Administrator, Medical Director, and DON on strategies to maximize quality of care.
Participate in the facility’s nurse management on-call rotation.
