Brentwood Hospital is searching for a caring and compassionate master’s prepared mental health clinician or Licensed RN for the Assistant Director of Intake position in our busy 24/7 Admissions Department. The Assistant Director of Admissions assists the Director of Admissions with the administrative oversight and direction of the hospital’s Admissions Department. This position provides supervision to a staff of specialists in the provision of patient access to care and behavioral health assessment services, including call management, clinical evaluations for level of care, crisis intervention, admissions and referrals. This position interfaces closely with the hospital’s medical staff, nursing staff, department leaders, and administration, as well as external referring agencies and payers. The Assistant Admissions Director is responsible assisting with departmental adherence to policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, service excellence, and data entry/management. In addition, the Assistant Admissions Director assists in the development and management of processes related to efficient and smooth admission processes. The Assistant Admissions Director reports directly to the Director of Admissions and will assist in interviewing/hiring new staff, staff supervision, clinical case consultation, coordination and organization of day-to-day activities that will enhance effectiveness of the Admissions Department and security to ensure smooth admissions processing for referral sources, families, staff and patients.
