The Assistant Director of Health Services, in alignment with the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) and the Division of Student Affairs, provides high-quality, student-centered customer service that support student well-being and success within the Department of Health services. The Assistant Director, reporting to the Director of Health Services, is responsible for providing direct oversight and operational leadership for the University's Student Medical Response Team (SMRT), which provides evening and weekend emergency medical response to support the campus community. The Assistant Director will coordinate closely with Student Affairs, Risk Management, Campus Safety, Health Services, and local emergency response partners to support effective emergency response and continuity of care. The Assistant Director is also responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of a comprehensive health promotion and outreach program through Health Services. This includes supervision of the Nutritionist, developing proactive educational initiatives, programs, and partnerships designed to increase student awareness of health and wellness resources, encourage healthy behaviors, and address emerging student health needs. The Assistant Director serves on-call for the Student Medical Response Team (SMRT) and provides leadership and support for emergency response operations as needed. This is a full-time, 12-month, in-person position that requires regular availability during traditional business hours as well as some evenings and weekends based on departmental, outreach, and emergency response needs.
