About The Position

The Cedars of Chapel Hill is an upscale retirement community with over 400 Members. The ideal Assistant Dining Director candidate will demonstrate extensive expertise in leading a team of fine dining professionals, and possess the ability to ensure exceptional and memorable dining experiences are provided across all dining venues. This individual will oversee various service formats, including banquet and catering services, bar and beverage operations, à la carte dining for both casual and formal settings, as well as brunch and holiday meal service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of management experience in a fine dining environment, ideally within a hotel, restaurant, or private club setting
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to interpret instructions and offer effective leadership to a diverse team of dining professionals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with computerized inventory and ordering systems

  • Knowledge of senior living and healthcare environments

Responsibilities
