The Meadowbrook School of Weston, a junior kindergarten through 8th grade school located in Weston, MA, seven miles west of Boston, is seeking an Assistant Director of Facilities to join our community. This is a full-time, year-round, exempt position. The Meadowbrook School is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Successful candidates will be personable and have the ability to connect with various groups of people including our faculty, students, and contractors/vendors. You must also be able to work independently, supervise and manage staff, and exercise sound judgment. Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Assistant Director of Facilities is an integral member of the facilities team. In addition to routine maintenance activities, you will act as the main point of contact for the rest of the team, vendors, and contractors, and supervise and manage two full-time Facilities Technicians. This role requires a significant exercise of sound judgement and discretion in managing day-to-day operations and staff. At times when the Director of Facilities is absent, you will lead the department.
