The Assistant Director of Dining Services will assist with the daily food service operations of a 73-bed acute care facility with an on-site retail cafe. This role involves managing and leading a team of approximately 10 associates, focusing on talent development, client relationships, profitability, and supporting financial goals within an assigned area.

Requirements

1 to 3 years of food service management experience.
Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Financial experience and business acumen skills.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director, Chef, and management team in creating nutritious and high-quality food.
Implement new culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary teams.
Maintain excellent client relationships.
Manage, train, and develop associates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
