Position Summary We are seeking an Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADCS) to support the leadership of our hospice clinical team. This role partners closely with the Director of Clinical Services to ensure high-quality patient care, support staff development, and maintain operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Hospice experience required: 1+ year of hospice management experience OR 3+ years of hospice nursing experience
  • Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, clinical operations, and compliance
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Passion for serving patients and families

Responsibilities

  • Support oversight and coordination of hospice clinical services
  • Lead, mentor, and develop an interdisciplinary team (nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains)
  • Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, policies, and best practices
  • Promote a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention of clinical staff
  • Collaborate with physicians, facilities, and community partners
  • Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and quality initiatives
  • Provide leadership support, including occasional on-call responsibilities
