The Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADCS) supports the leadership of the hospice clinical team, partnering closely with the Director of Clinical Services to ensure high-quality patient care, support staff development, and maintain operational excellence.
Requirements
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Hospice experience required: 1+ year of hospice management experience OR 3+ years of hospice nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, clinical operations, and compliance
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Passion for serving patients and families
Responsibilities
- Support oversight and coordination of hospice clinical services
- Lead, mentor, and develop an interdisciplinary team (nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains)
- Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, policies, and best practices
- Promote a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention of clinical staff
- Collaborate with physicians, facilities, and community partners
- Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and quality initiatives
- Provide leadership support, including occasional on-call responsibilities
