About The Position
The Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADCS) - Registered Nurse (RN) works under the Director to provide overall direction to the hospice clinical team. They are responsible for hiring qualified hospice personnel, the provision of hospice services directly, and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations. The role also involves establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines. Brighton/Suncrest Hospice aims to change the expectation of hospice care by providing exceptional service, increasing clinical visits, and lowering clinician caseloads. The company is CHAP certified and seeks individuals committed to providing high-quality care.
Requirements
- A strong leader with impeccable organizational, strategic, analytical and project management skills.
- A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice.
Nice To Haves
- 5 years in healthcare industry preferred
- 2 years of experience working in Leadership
Responsibilities
- Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
- Monitoring nursing staff performance and addressing any QA issues.
- Clinical policy and procedure support.
- Assisting the Director in identifying & resolving nursing department deficiencies.
- Monitoring implementation of correction plans.
