It includes implementing a co-advising model with faculty, providing seamless transitions between advising types, and evaluating the D2S program through data-driven reports. The position also requires representing the university at recruitment and advisement events, conducting information presentations, hosting counseling and pre-transfer advising sessions, and counseling prospective students on admission. The role involves excellent customer service via various communication channels, understanding admissions policies, assisting with marketing and outreach campaigns, and encouraging application submission and enrollment. A key responsibility is reviewing undergraduate applications, interpreting transcripts, and evaluating credits for transfer students, especially those from CCBC and D2S. The position serves as a liaison for academic departments and community colleges regarding transferability of courses and functions as a resource for transfer admissions, evaluations, and curriculum. General admissions duties include applicant processing, holistic review, event participation, special projects, and committee work to meet enrollment goals.
