The Assistant Director implements and manages high-impact mentoring, career, and life-design programs for alumni, parents, and friends of Brown, as well as volunteer roles. This includes managing the Women’s Launch Pad (WLP) and other mentoring, life design, and career initiatives that harness the time and talent of Brown alumni, family, and friends in service to students and the University community. Reporting to the Director of Career and Life Design, the Assistant Director will collaborate on mentoring and career-related programming with partners in Alumni Relations and other University stakeholders, including the Center for Career Exploration and student-focused centers and offices. In addition, the Assistant Director will work with the team’s Director to execute and advance mentoring initiatives, serving as an operational resource in mentoring program delivery. These engagement programs offer ways for alumni to connect and reconnect with the University, peers, and students with the ultimate goal of providing a positive Brown experience. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience A minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field such as development, career services, alumni program management, career programming or advising, and/or event planning.
