The Assistant Director of Disability Services provides leadership for disability services within the Center for Learning, Access, and Student Success (CLASS). Serving on the CLASS leadership team, the Assistant Director collaborates with the CLASS staff to advance the department's mission of providing opportunities for all students to achieve academic success. The Assistant Director provides operational leadership for disability services, including supervision of professional staff, review of disability documentation, coordination of accommodation services, consultation on complex student cases, and collaboration with campus partners to ensure equitable access for students with disabilities. The Assistant Director also provides direct student services, including academic skills coaching, contributes to departmental planning and assessment efforts, and serves as a resource to faculty and staff regarding disability-related issues.
