About The Position

The Assistant Director-Clinic is responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day clinic operation. He/she creatively handles difficult situations/issues; Interfaces with physicians, employees and patients, maintaining positive relations with ability to delegate and coordinate responsibility. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a Business or other health care related field required
• Minimum of five years supervisory experience in health care required
• Two additional years of healthcare experience accepted in lieu of education
• Able to use computer and software programs necessary to the position, e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access
• Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position
• Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
• Be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies
• Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
• Lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate
• Accept direction
• Able to communicate effectively
