The Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC) at Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a motivated Assistant Director/Career Consultant to focus on career development initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students within the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences. This role involves acting as the primary CPDC liaison for departments within the college, providing consulting support, and coaching students on career planning strategies using the CPDC’s Assess-Brand-Connect Career Learning Outcomes framework. The position requires proficiency in delivering content through individual, group, and online modalities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of evaluating student and corporate partner needs, developing creative strategies, and proactively taking action. Responsibilities include tracking internship and first-destination outcomes with high attention to detail.
