Camp Bob Waldorf, a program of Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles (JBBBSLA), is seeking an Assistant Director to serve as a key member of the camp’s senior leadership team. The Assistant Director is the primary leadership partner to the Vice President of Camp & Retreat Operations and is responsible for supporting the overall management, culture, and execution of all camp and retreat programs. This role serves as second-in-command and must be prepared to step in and assume leadership of camp operations whenever the VP is unavailable or focused on other critical matters. The Assistant Director oversees major operational areas of camp including camper care and wellness, staff supervision and training, teen leadership development, program implementation, compliance, and family communication. This leader plays a central role in ensuring a safe, mission-driven, joyful, and well-run camp environment grounded in Jewish values. This is a year-round, in-person position based in Glendale, CA, with required on-site residency during summer camp and all retreat weekends.
