About The Position

The Assistant Design Lead (ADL) supports the Design Lead in executing, integrating, releasing, and continuously improving engine systems and subsystems. The role provides technical leadership, mentors designers, leads virtual development activities, and ensures designs meet program requirements, quality standards, manufacturability targets, and GVDP milestones. The position is hybrid, with the selected candidate expected to work on-site at the Warren Tech Center at least three days per week, or at another frequency determined by the hiring leader. Travel of less than 25% is required. The role is not eligible for relocation assistance. The candidate will lead design and integration work, engineering analyses, design reviews, and program execution while collaborating with Engineering, CAE, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Program teams. General Motors does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
