Assistant Department Supervisor (Cast Production - Day)
About The Position
As a vital team member, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating work schedules, contributing to the selection of our incredible staff, and providing valuable feedback on employee performance. Your focus will be on ensuring a safe, productive, and top-quality work environment within your department. In addition, you'll step in as needed to oversee production in the absence of the Production Supervisor. Your dedication to upholding our company's values will be instrumental in identifying and supporting initiatives for continuous growth. Join us in fostering a positive work culture, driving improvements, and making a meaningful impact within our team. Hours: Mon-Thur 4:00am - 2:30pm
Requirements
- Ability to lead, coach, and delegate
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Possess basic math and computer skills
- Ability to use various gauges and measuring instruments, as necessary
- Possess at least a limited blueprint reading ability.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Department Supervisor in overseeing the department employees.
- Maintain the stated productivity goals.
- Understand and follow the concepts of Lean Manufacturing.
- Coach, develop, and train personnel.
- Understand and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.
