About The Position

This role is for a Production Supervisor in the Welding Department, working a day shift. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and efficiency goals. This includes managing employees, resolving conflicts, maintaining records, and participating in management meetings. The position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 5 years Manufacturing experience
• 2 years of Supervisory experience
• Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Andon, or other relevant manufacturing certifications.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Welding experience Required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Strong working knowledge of EPA, and OSHA regulations
• Ability to read blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and targets.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and efficiency goals.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Manage employee attendance and timekeeping.
• Resolve employee conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Manages departmental projects, team leaders, and staff, ensuring efficient production flow and timely resolution of issues (e.g., rework, downtime, material shortages).
• Participate in daily management meetings.
