About The Position

At Aspen Dental, the Assistant Dental Office Manager, called an Operations Lead, performs daily front-office duties to create positive patient experiences and build trust and loyalty. The role reports to the Manager and helps supervise the non-clinical team under the Manager’s direction. New team members participate in an eight-week training program. Aspen Dental-branded practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists and receive non-clinical business support services from Aspen Dental Management, Inc.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Analytical thinking and an emphasis on leveraging data.
Organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate patient service in accordance with patient needs, company policies and procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards.
Collaborate with dental team members to provide exceptional patient care.
Consult with patients about treatment options provided by the clinical team, and verify insurance payments and collections.
Under the Manager’s direction, supervise and reinforce the daily tasks and priorities of the non-clinical team.
Review day-to-day data to evaluate its impact on the practice.
Oversee scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments.
Verify insurance payments and collections, balance nightly deposits, and process credit cards.
Perform additional tasks assigned by the Manager.
