About The Position

At Aspen Dental, the Assistant Dental Office Manager, called an Operations Lead, performs daily front-office tasks and duties to help create lasting impressions and build trust and loyalty with patients. The role reports to the Manager and supports the non-clinical team under the Manager’s direction. New team members participate in an eight-week training program. Aspen Dental practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists and receive non-clinical business support from Aspen Dental Management, Inc.; details may vary by location.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of varied ages and backgrounds.
Analytical thinking and an emphasis on leveraging data.
Organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, superior patient service in accordance with patient needs, company policies and procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards.
Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
Consult with patients on treatment options provided by the clinical team, and verify insurance payments and collections to support high-quality care.
Under the Manager’s direction, supervise and reinforce the daily tasks and priorities of the non-clinical team.
Review day-to-day data to evaluate its impact on the practice.
Oversee scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments.
Verify insurance payments and collections, balance nightly deposits, and process credit card transactions.
Perform additional tasks assigned by the Manager.
